I went to Mario after buying a disastrous ’off the shelf’ set of clubs from another well known Marbella shop.
Mario custom fit me in his shop and gave me demo shafted clubs to try. I would never have bought the set I did if it wasn’t for his expert guidance (and they were not the most expensive).

Mario is a very knowledgeable golf pro who will spend time making sure you are matched to exactly the right clubs.
I bought a set of irons that needed to be lengthened slightly and with a slight change to the lie of the heads. Mario did each iron with no extra charge. He also gave me a few tips on my swing which was helpful.

This is an incredible shop. Mario is kind and patient. Went through my bag of clubs and made suggestions to fill the gaps. I was able to try his suggestions on the track master. He offered to put a new shaft on my overflexible hybrid. Bought a couple of second hand clubs and he changed the grips while I waited. Let me compare distances between my 20 year old driver and a more modern second hand equivalent. How technology has moved on. A second hand 3 wood same distance as my old driver! A few tips on my swing for good measure. All in all a pleasant experience being in the presence of someone so knowledgeable. Fair prices too. Try them!

Hi , I visited Mario’s shop a few weeks ago with the intent to buy a second hand Driver. However after Mario taking a good two hours with me on his indoor driving and measurement range it was obvious that new clubs were the way to go. Through the years I have visited Golf City at the A-7 in Estepona’s most eastern outskirts many times. I have bought gloves, balls, tees, golf shoes, a new putter, and last month a new set of customised irons. On top of that I have taken some golf lessons from Mario, the PGA pro who runs the shop. What I like the most is that even though Mario sells nice products to a decent price this is not his the main product, only a means for what is most important: That the customers are able to improve their golf results. I had a club fitting with Mario, I called the shop with very short notice and he was able to fit me in even kept the shop open as the fitting took longer than expected. I found this shop online after searching for hours for a place to get custom fitted. I thought i’d pop in for a chat, i’m glad I did. Mario was beyond helpful and made me feel at ease, after my fitting he asked me what brand of clubs I wanted and found me the best deal possible because the clubs I requested weren’t in stock. At no point did I feel pressured into buying something that wasn’t right for me like at some golf shops i’d been to in the past. Unfortunately when I picked my clubs up Mario wasn’t in, but the staff member I dealt with was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend this place enough, I will 100% be using this retailers again.

I bought (fitted) clubs in the Netherlands but already 2 golf teachers told me that the clubs where too long for me and some really way too long. So I googled for a club fitter in Estepona (since I live there) and found golf city, called them, explained my problem and the nice ladie made an appointment for me with Mario. We checked first paper wise what would be the correct length for me and based on that the irons were not that bad but when we checked in reality with my stands, doing the swing from a plastic board with a tape on my clubs, etc we found out that my irons where about 3-4cm too long and my rescue, wood and driver even till 11cm!! (probably some were even not shorted at all for me in the Netherlands, because Mario saw already immediately that some were even longer them men’s standard). So Mario checked everything and made a nice build up for lengths which should be correct for me (so here also he did not just do standard but based on my personal needs) and placed new grips. Since the shaft of the rescue, wood and driver is a bit thicker (because they are longer) he even stretched the grips a bit so in the end the feeling for me would be the same! Already the first day of practicing with the new sizes it showed much improvements in my swing since I didn’t have to compensate the length with my stands and body any more! Also my teacher saw immediately the improvement and was really happy with the result of the club fitting. I really can recommend Mario to everyone who needs a club fitter! Mario thank you so much! These are the keywords that can be said about this store.I was at home in Norway and searched for golf shops near Estepona when I found Golf City Sports. I sent them a email and asked if it was possible to order som clubs online and pick them up when we came down to Spain. The answer I got was (no problem), I ordered the clubs via a Mail and got confirmation on the booking.They kept me up to date on the order and when the clubs were coming to the store.They seemed very professional and I felt that I received very good service.
